Optical fiber front end type KL-PLNG-BL-A3.0
The optical fiber front end KL-PLNG-BL-A3.0 can be connected to the color measurement sensor SPECTRO-3-FIO-MSM-DIG-VIS as well as to the SPECTRO-3-FIO-MSM-ANA-VIS. The housing is made of stainless steel and the front side of the optical fiber is covered from a sapphire glass. Due to an integrated air duct the sensor can be used up to temperatures around 300°C, thus the front end can be directly placed into the polymer melt. Additionally the sensor is equipped with a temperature sensor.

Fluorescence contrast sensor type SPECTRO-1-30-BL/OR
The fluorescence contrast sensor SPECTRO-1-30-BL/OR is using blue LEDs. The blue light will be converted from a suitable object into the red wavelength range. Normally the efficiency of the fluorescence material is very weak, thus a high amplification with a strong optical filtering is required from the sensor side. Due to the power consumption of the bright blue LEDs, a side heat sink is provided. In combination with an optional available spacer, the system can be used as a hand held device.

At this, the time delay TAU (time constant) as well as the intensity INT of the secondary emission will be evaluated. For this purpose, the –M (master type) is used for the parameterization, whereas the –S (slave type) is used just for the control (the –S type is using the parameter file, generated from the –M type). Five individual parameter sets can be used on each device.

The mounting plate C-MOUNT-LT-37-68/150 is used in connection with the laser sensors type L-LAS-LT-37-MA and L-LAS-LT-37-SL especially for thickness measurements of objects. Furthermore, the plate can be used just for adjustment of the master and slave sensor. After the adjustment of both sensors, the unit can be removed.

The optical fiber frontend type KL-D-45°/0°-85-1200-A2.0-VIS in connection with the color sensor type SPECTRO-3-FIO-MSM-ANA-VIS is used for color measurement tasks, especially in harsh environment with high temperature or Ex range. It has to be pointed out, that the distance from the frontend to the object is 85mm and the spot size at this distance is elliptical and around 30mm x 20mm. Furthermore the system is working as a 45°/0° color measurement system and can be used especially in connection with flat gauge glass.

The frontend SPECTRO-1-LAS-FE-CYL is used in connection with a reflective film or with a reflector. Due to the fact, that the laser light is polarized and additionally the receiver is equipped with an optical polarization filter, the influences on the signal from ambient light will be suppressed. The laser line has along the horizontal axis (in parallel to the long axis of the FE housing) a divergence of around 60° and at the vertical axis a divergence which is less than 1mrad and a thickness of roughly 1mm. The reflective system is used to control the thickness of objects (diameter, height, etc.) at a certain distance.

There is also an external high power UV-LED SPECTRO-ELS-UV in connection with the SPECTRO-1-FIO-UV available. For photosensitive objects the SPECTRO-1-FIO-IR, which comes with an IR-LED, can be used.
